We are Celebrating 25 years as Pastor and People!
The Officers, Tri-Board, Staff and Members of First Baptist Church North Indianapolis cordially invite you to join us as we celebrate God’s decision to unite Pastor Ivan Douglas Hicks, Lady Christia, and their family with our congregation in April of 1999. On the weekend of the April 27th and 28th of 2024 we invite you to join us as we thank God for what He has done and continues to do.
A quarter century has passed since Dr. Hicks accepted the call and we relocated his family to Indianapolis, Indiana. As we celebrate this milestone, we do so thanking God for His direction and for you as you have been identified as one who has been blessed by and may care to be a blessing to our Pastor. He has provided strong leadership to not just our congregation, but for our community as he “vanguards the causes of widows and children, the most vulnerable among us.”

We invite you to support this 25th Anniversary by purchasing an ad in our Virtual Souvenir Booklet (see attached flyer). We will also have an “UnBanquet”! For the 10th Anniversary, Dr. Hicks was able to lead First Baptist as we supported the establishment of the Indianapolis Hunger Initiative through our first “UnBanquet” 15 years ago. This time we will not assemble to “not eat,” but we invite both organizations and individuals that would like to support the diverse, impactful ministry, and advocacy work of Dr. Hicks to “buy a table or seat” for our 25th Anniversary “UnBanquet.” We will not gather for this “UnBanquet” but look forward to our in-person reception and worship to fully celebrate such an impactful 25 years.
