WORD ON WEDNESDAY — AUGUST SERIES
Family Matters: Faith Begins at Home
Word On Wednesday Family & Friends,
This week, our Family Matters series continues with an important conversation about the relationship between love and healthy boundaries.
FWe are called to love our families, support one another, bear burdens, extend grace, and walk in forgiveness. However, biblical love does not require us to accept ongoing harm, neglect our own well-being, or carry responsibilities God never assigned to us.
Healthy boundaries help us love with wisdom.
They help protect relationships from resentment, confusion, manipulation, exhaustion, and repeated harm. They also help each person accept appropriate responsibility for their choices and actions.
This Week’s Message
Speaker: Min. Nichelle Miller
Focus: Boundaries and Love
Scripture: Proverbs 4:23; Galatians 6:2–5
Suggested Sermon Title: Love With Wisdom
Min. Nichelle Miller will teach us how healthy boundaries can strengthen love and create safer, wiser, and more respectful family relationships.
Together, we will consider:
How can I love my family well while maintaining healthy boundaries?
Boundaries do not eliminate love. When established with prayer, wisdom, truth, and compassion, boundaries can help love become healthier and stronger.
