Women's Fellowship Ministry Outing!
The women of First Baptist Church North got together for a fellowship brunch with games, gifts, good food, good friends at Lincoln Square Pancake House.
Feeding and Fueling Ministry
Each Ministry is asked to provide the meal for our neighbors on a monthly basis.
This meal is offered each Thursday, from 11:30am - 1:30pm in the Bradley building. In addition to the meal, our neighbors can pick up any needed clothing and/or toiletry items, such as soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant, T-shirts, underwear, socks, shoes, coats, hats, pants, shirts, etc.
At the end of the meal, our Director of Resources (Lora Henderson) is available to help with any challenges our neighbors may be facing, i.e. housing, transportation, health care, etc.
Summer Resource Fair & Clothing Giveaway
Feeding & Fueling Ministry along with the Grandparents Ministry held a Resource Fair and Clothing Giveaway, Saturday July 23rd. In addition to food and clothing, the fair provided much needed information and services to the community such as senior services, breast cancer awareness and other health related information.
Vendors in attendance included CICOA, Pink4Ever, Anthropocene Project & Marion County Health Dept.
Prison Ministry Juvenile Center Christmas Party!
After a successful Angel Tree Program, the Prison Ministry completed their year by providing food and drinks for the Christmas Celebration at the Juvenile Center. With the young people not being able to have outside visitors’ since Covid started, this was a true blessing to be able to show some love.
